Hospira Inc, a US-based pharmaceutical major, has been allotted 46 acres for a new plant at the Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City, an upcoming special economic zone near Visakhapatnam. The 2,143-acre pharma city is being developed by Ramky Pharma City (India) Ltd, a special purpose vehicle formed by Ramky Infrastructure Ltd and APIIC.

Hospira Inc, a US-based pharmaceutical major, has been allotted 46 acres for a new plant at the Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City, an upcoming special economic zone near Visakhapatnam.

The land allotment letter was handed over by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr K. Rosaiah, to Mr Joe Cramer, Vice President — Global Operations of Hospira, and Dr G.B. Rao, Managing Director, Indian Operations, on Wednesday, in the presence of Mr Ayodhya Rami Reddy, Chairman of Ramky Group, and Dr P.P. Lal Krishna, head of JNPC.

The 2,143-acre pharma city is being developed by Ramky Pharma City (India) Ltd, a special purpose vehicle formed by Ramky Infrastructure Ltd and APIIC.

New ORDERS

Ramky Infrastructure announced that it has bagged seven projects worth Rs 1,124 crore.
